Janiece Washington Leads the Way as Lady Longhorns Top Lady Kiowas, 24-7 Four different scorers carried the Lady Longhorns, and that balance built a 24-7 win over the Lady Kiowas in the 2025/26 PCSA Winter Basketball League on January 18 in Perryton. The 17-point margin came from spread production rather than any one big night. Janiece Washington led the way with 8 points and earned Player of the Game, the first of her career. Right behind her, Jade Gonzalez added 7 and Zaylea Cervantes chipped in 6. One more Longhorn reached the scoring column for the remaining points. For the Lady Kiowas, Kamyla Ponce paced the side with 3 points and took home Player of the Game, also the first of her career. Emma Morgan and one teammate scored 2 apiece to round out the Kiowas' total. With four Longhorns finding the scoreboard and no single player dominating, the depth told the story in a comfortable result.
