Banda Banda Leads the Field in Scoring as BSA Takes the Title

EKO Staff··

Banda Banda finished the tournament as its top scorer, and the trophy ended up in his team's hands. That combination, the highest scoring average in the field and a championship, anchors his MVP case.

Over 4 games, Banda Banda averaged 11.2 points and totaled 45, knocking down 4 threes along the way. He led BSA in scoring across the run, and the team finished as champions.

The signature stretch came in three Player-of-the-Game performances. Against the Banda Banda's matchup with Gulf Coast Mambas - Venom, he poured in 15 points with a three and earned the honor. He matched that line against DGT, another 15-point night with a three and another Player-of-the-Game nod. A second meeting with DGT brought 12 more points, a third three, and a third straight game honor. The remaining game filled out a steady run that kept him atop the scoring chart.

The numbers make the argument plainly. Banda Banda ranked first in scoring across the entire field. He was the leading scorer on his own team. And he collected three Player-of-the-Game honors in 4 games, coaches around the bracket pointing to the same name again and again. It was an MVP run built on a tournament-high average and three POG honors.

In the end, the case closes itself. The player who scored more than anyone else in the tournament, who led his team in points, and who drew recognition in three of four games, did it on the team that walked away with the title. Banda Banda and BSA finished as champions.
