The GSA Spring Extravaganza brought together 28 teams across 6 divisions for a full weekend of basketball, with 32 games filling out the schedule. From the youngest groups to the oldest, the courts stayed busy and the brackets ran their full course.
In the 6th Grade Boys division, TTG earned the title with a win over 6-boys-team-3000. D'Anthony Smith was named the division MVP, capping a strong run through the bracket for his squad.
A few moments stood out across the weekend. The 6th Grade Boys championship was the closest title game of the event, a tight finish that kept fans watching to the final whistle. On the other end of the scoreboard, the 9th Grade Boys produced the highest-scoring game of the tournament, a 59-30 result that saw the older crowd push the pace and pile up points.
Individually, D'Anthony Smith also turned in the biggest single-game performance of the tournament, posting 5 points in 6th Grade Boys play. It was a fitting note for a player who walked away with division MVP honors.
Across all six divisions, the weekend offered a little of everything: close finishes, high-scoring affairs, and standout individual showings. The variety of brackets meant teams of every age group had their moment on the floor, and the steady stream of games gave players, families, and fans plenty to take in over the course of the event.
The GSA Spring Extravaganza once again proved to be a great weekend of hoops, with TTG hoisting hardware in the 6th Grade Boys division and competition spread evenly across the rest of the field.
A warm thank you goes out to all 28 teams, the players who left it all on the court, the coaches and families who showed up in force, and everyone who helped keep 32 games running smoothly. We hope to see everyone back on the court again soon.
