Timothy GA Tops the Field in Scoring, Collects Two POG Nods

EKO Staff··

Timothy GA earned MVP of the tournament, and the case is short. He finished first in the field in scoring and walked away with a Player-of-the-Game honor in each of his two games.

The line frames the run. Across 2 games, Timothy GA averaged 8.5 a game for 17 total points, with no threes. He led his team in scoring, and that team reached the final.

The two games tell the story on their own. Against B4 Academy, he posted 9 points and took the Player-of-the-Game nod. Then came the meeting with FCA Stars, where Timothy GA put up 8 points and again was named Player of the Game. Two appearances, two honors.

The why-them is built on a simple stack. He ranked first in the field in scoring, the top average of anyone in the division. He carried his own team's scoring load across both games. And coaches recognized him after each one, leaving him with a Player-of-the-Game award in every game he played. A tournament-high average and a clean sweep of POG honors is the entire argument.

His team reached the final but did not win the title. That does not change the individual ledger. Timothy GA produced the best individual run of the tournament regardless of where his team finished, the only player to lead the field in scoring and claim Player of the Game in every appearance. The trophy went elsewhere; the MVP belonged to him.
