The SEBA Warriors 2028 are champions. They finished the tournament with a perfect 4-0 record, and they earned every bit of it.
The shape of the run tells the story. The Warriors averaged 79 points for and just 36 points against across their four games. That is a wide and steady gap, the mark of a team that handled business with both offense and defense pulling their weight game after game.
What stood out most was how many different players carried the load. Tyson Matta led the group with 72 points across the four games, but he was far from alone. Nic De Oliveira added 57 points, and Brandon Connor chipped in 43 of his own. Jadon Gonzalez was right there too with 42 points, giving the Warriors a deep and reliable front of scorers.
The contributions kept coming down the roster. Frank Jamieson put up 34 points, Dominic LoPresti added 24, and Shaydon Simpson finished with 21. Nate Hawthorne contributed 17 points, and Josh Wallace pitched in 5. This was a true team effort, with nearly everyone finding the scoresheet.
The honors reflected the work. Bleu Armour was named Tournament MVP. Tyson Matta and Nic De Oliveira both earned All-Tournament recognition, a fitting reward for the two leading scorers who set the tone for the group all weekend.
This was a championship built on balance. When one player had a quieter night, another stepped forward, and the scoring spread out across the lineup in a way that made the Warriors tough to slow down. They scored in bunches and they defended with purpose, and the result was four wins and a title to show for it.
Congratulations to every member of the SEBA Warriors 2028. From the top scorers to every player who took the floor, this was a group that won together and now stands as champions.
