Charlie Simmons Scores His Way to the Title and the MVP

EKO Staff··

Charlie Simmons finished as the top scorer in the field, and he earned Player of the Game in 4 of Chattanooga Elite 2028's games. That combination made the MVP case before any debate started.

The line tells the story. Over 4 games, Simmons averaged 24.0 points, totaling 96 for the tournament, with 9 threes along the way. He led his team in scoring, and his team won the title.

The signature outing came against B-ALL-IN 2028, where Simmons put up 31 points and knocked down 4 threes, taking Player of the Game honors. He followed that with 27 points against Redline - Premier, adding a three and collecting another Player of the Game nod. Against Team Impact, he posted 23 points with a three and earned the recognition again. The remaining game rounded out a run that kept him in the Player of the Game conversation start to finish.

The numbers make the argument plain. Simmons ranked first in scoring across the field. He led Chattanooga Elite 2028 in points himself. Coaches handed him Player of the Game in 4 contests, recognition that followed him across the bracket. The 9 threes and the tournament-high average gave the run its shape, and the consistency of those scoring totals, never dipping below 23 in his standout games, held it together.

It all landed on the team that won. Chattanooga Elite 2028 took the championship, and Simmons was its leading scorer through every game. An MVP run built on a tournament-high average, a stack of Player of the Game honors, and a title is the kind that needs no embellishment. Simmons scored more than anyone in the field and walked off with the trophy.
