Alek Avaliani Tops the Field at 25.5 a Game, Earns MVP on 4 POGs in 4 Games

Marcus Reed··

The MVP award went to Alek Avaliani, and the numbers behind it are straightforward: he finished 1st in scoring across the entire field, collected Player of the Game in every game he played, and did it without his team reaching the final.

Over 4 games, Avaliani posted 102 points at 25.5 a game, with 11 threes. That average led the tournament outright, and he led his team in scoring throughout.

Two games anchor the run. Against NME 2028 UA Rise, he put up 30 points and 4 threes, taking Player of the Game. Against GTA APE, he followed with 29 points and 3 threes, another Player of the Game. Those back-to-back outputs, 59 combined points across two games, account for more than half his tournament total and represent the two highest individual game scores in his bracket.

A third game added to the case. Avaliani scored 25 against BCB, again hitting 3 threes, again earning Player of the Game. Four games, four POG honors.

The full picture: 1st in the field in scoring, 102 total points, 11 threes, and a 4-for-4 POG record. No other player in the tournament matched that combination of volume and recognition across the bracket.

Avaiani's team did not reach the final, which makes the individual line stand on its own. The MVP award reflects what the numbers show across 4 games: a tournament-high scoring average, the most Player of the Game honors in the division, and a run that no other player in the field matched.
