Champions. NME UA FUTURE - 14U/8TH GRADE/2030 closed out the tournament without a loss, going 3-0 and earning every bit of the title. This group earned it together.
The run had a clear identity on both ends of the floor. The team averaged 50 points per game while holding opponents to 37, a margin that speaks to a squad that could score and defend with equal purpose. That kind of consistency across 3 games is not an accident.
The offense was a genuine committee effort, and different players stepped forward at different moments. Antonio Streety led the roster with 36 points across the 3 games, a steady and reliable presence every time out. Frank Aguilar was right behind him with 29 points, giving the team a second dependable scorer who made life difficult for every opponent. Dayon Hawkins added 27 points of his own, and that trio at the top of the scoring ledger gave NME UA FUTURE a foundation few teams could match.
The contributions did not stop there. Braden Maloney and Carson Asher each finished with 19 points across the tournament, a pair of players who kept the offense humming when it mattered. Eli Jenkins chipped in 9 points, and Sebastian Hamilton contributed 5. Jaime Tittle and John Mcdermott each scored 2 points across the 3 games, and Sean King scored 2 points across his 2 games. Every player on this roster put points on the board. That is a championship team.
When the honors were handed out, the tournament recognized what everyone in the gym already knew. Isaiah Witherow was named Tournament MVP, a well-earned distinction for a player who delivered when the stakes were highest. Antonio Streety earned an All-Tournament selection to go alongside his team-leading scoring total, a fitting reward for a consistent and impactful run.
This is a team that can look back on this tournament with real pride. A perfect record, a balanced attack, and a championship trophy. Well done.
