
The 2026 {tournament:1|Team Tatum Spring Classic} brought together 66 teams across 8 divisions for 137 games of basketball, and by the final weekend every bracket had its banner.
In the 2nd Grade Boys division, {team:101|BYC Elite} defeated {team:102|Young Gunz} 40-8, with {player:201|Ivan Vega Zavala} earning MVP honors. The 2nd Grade Girls crown went to {team:103|Pink Storm} over {team:104|WTX}, where {player:202|Sloan Kile} was named MVP in the closest championship of the entire event.
The 4th Grade Boys title belonged to the {team:105|Perryton Bulls}, who topped the {team:106|Lynx} 37-25 behind MVP {player:203|Jeremiah Pena}. On the girls side, the {team:107|Top of Texas Stars} edged the {team:108|Booker Ballerz} 21-15, with {player:204|Mackenzie Mendez} taking MVP.
The 6th Grade divisions saw a sweep of championship hardware by {team:109|TexasMade Elite}. The boys claimed a 48-42 win over the {team:110|Canadian Wildcats}, with {player:205|Kollin Hooker} named MVP. The girls program added a 35-29 victory against the {team:111|Lady Longhorns}, where {player:206|Zaylea Cervantes} earned the honor.
In the 8th Grade Boys final, {team:112|Top of Texas Force} defeated {team:113|HOH} 52-42, with MVP {player:207|Kayson Olgletree}. The 8th Grade Girls title came down to a single basket, as {team:114|High Plains Storm} held off the {team:115|Queen Bees} 36-34 behind MVP {player:208|Taylyn Livengood}.
A few numbers stood out from the weekend. The highest-scoring game came in the 8th Grade Boys bracket at 58-47. And the biggest individual outing belonged to {player:209|Peyton Gilter}, who poured in 26 points in a 6th Grade Boys contest.
